About Våke:

​

Våke has created their own form of mellow folk pop, with warm acoustic instrumentation and tight vocal harmonies. They aspire to write unassuming, honest songs about things that matter. Based in Oslo, Norway, they have reached people all over the world with their music.​

​

Formed in 2017, Våke consists of Rannveig Amundsen (vocals, piano), Vårin Alme (vocals) and Andreas H. Hvidsten (guitar). They released an EP September in 2019 and their first full-length album Farer in 2021, the lead single from which has more than 100 000 plays on Spotify. 2025 will see more music from Våke. The single Willows (released May 23) will be followed by more singles and an EP in the fall.
